Happy Labor Day

It's been a great Labor Day with perfect weather all weekend. The Navy Blue Angles are in town for the Cleveland Air Show but we didn't make it down to see them. Beautiful clear blue skies made for great flying I'm sure.

The night was cool and it was great sleeping in the tent for the third night in a row. We have enjoyed both breakfast and lunch outside the last couple of days.

The tomatoes in the garden are starting to ripen up nicely.

We picked about 5 lbs of Roma tomatoes and will cook them down to a marinara sauce for dinner tonight. Add some onions, garlic, red pepper flakes, white wine and fresh basil! Yum.

Cathy made bread for dinner and also experimented with a baked sandwich for lunch.

You put your favorite meats and cheese on the dough and roll it up.

You bake them with the bread and enjoy!

A great sucess! We are planing to take leftovers tomorrow for lunch with some of the marinara sauce.

Salads featured fresh tomatoes from the garden as well.

Tonight's wine selection.
